2022-24 Year 3 Blog

 Year 3 revised their new vocabulary, listened to the story and sang their new song. They then acted out the different actions of the animals and labelled an action picture of the four friends from the story.

 Year 3 started a new topic about four friends who  work together to pick an apple from a tree. The children listened to the story, acting out different aspects of it. They then looked at Le and la, identifying whether the nouns were masculine or feminine. They then matched the new vocabulary to images from the story. 

 Today in maths year 3 have been exploring equivalent fractions. We played a matching activity using our fraction walls to help us. 

 This week we have been planning and creating our very own mindful instructions all about how to live a better and balanced lifestyle. 

 Year 3 found out about how the French celebrate Easter. They revised colours which they then used to complete an Easter activity.
