Volcanoes

Image
This term, year 3 are studying ‘volcanoes’. They began looking at their new vocabulary mat.  From there, they looked at who Vulcan was; The God of Fire. Finally, they drew a volcano and annotated it with vocabulary they already know. Some great discussions and misconceptions already. Looking forward to this topic.

PSHE- Pharmacies

Image
Year 3 were very very lucky, because they had a visit from Mr David France who is a real-life pharmacist. He was kind enough to talk to us all about medicine and the different types that we as children and adults might use and see. We also asked lots of questions and Mr France was very impressed with all of the knowledge Year 3 already had. It was very interesting to find out about the different things you can do at pharmacy and how many of our health problems can be solved there, instead of going to the doctors.

PSHE- Anti bullying week

Image
Today marks the start of anti bullying week and Year 3 took part in a BBC live lesson all about how we can do our bit to stop bullying. We even took part in different activities that gave us lots of different tools to use if we needed to report any bullying we may see or hear.
